My successes and failures on this journey of being a SAHM
Our handsome boy Striker, who is just about a year old now. He still has a lot of growing to do and is the biggest lovebug!
Three of our first batch of chicks. They have grown so much. Very friendly and good chicks.
Our rooster, Elvis, cock-a-doodling. He does it throughout the day, not just in the morning!
The new pup, Khloe, already growing fast and a great joy. She has a wonderful disposition.
Our handsome boy Bolt, who like his brother is just about a year. Can't wait for that winter coat to get all the way out!
This is definitely a random picture to have show up. :) Ok. To explain it. When my grandmother moved from her apartment in to assisted living, my parents got a lot of her stuff. After my dad passed away and mom moved, I ended up with a lot of that stuff. Really, I ended up with boxes (LOTS of boxes), and I had no idea what was in them. After B and I went under contract on our house, I thought it would be a good idea to go through some of them and see what was in them...and if I really needed it...because what is the point of moving more stuff then you have to? We realized we had no idea what a lot of the stuff was or even if it was valuable. So B decided to take pictures of what was in each box so we didn't have to go through them again in the future wondering what was in them. This was in box 1. I'm still not really sure what it is.
I cooked lunch for the hunters last week, and while they cleaned up most of their plates/meal, they did leave a few items on the table. I went down to the kitchen shortly after they left and found our baby Smoke on the kitchen table. She was on a used paper plate. You can see the spoon that still has jelly on it right beside her. I often wonder what they are thinking sometimes when they find a place to sit. This would definitely not have been my first choice!
