Can you see me?
B and I were out at the barn yesterday and saw 3 (yes three!) preying mantis' on the hay bales. I was bummed I didn't have my camera because how often do you see that many?
Anyway, I went back today and the one that blended in the best was in the same exact place. Can you find him?

last week gator was in the garage and found a preying mantis hiding on the under side of his sister's bicycle seat. he had a nice, safe view of the doings in the garage...but gator is a really observant fellow and spotted him.
we caught him and kept him for one day before letting him go. it's fun to have "pets" from time to time :-)

ps: by "we", I actually mean not me. gator and his friend did all the catching. but i supplied the 1/2 gallon mason jar and the basil and banana piece. left the catching of live bugs to feed it to the boys though.
